Akwasi Opong-Fosu has been a passionate advocate about Africa's growth and  an enhanced position and role for Africa in a globalized world. He has addressed international forums such as the UN, Crans Montana Forum, Wall Street Economic Summit, Marrakesh Security Forum among others focusing on leadership and governance, peace and security, trade and investment and sustainable development in Africa.

In furtherance of actualizing Africa's growth potential and consequently promoting an enhanced position and voice at the world stage, Akwasi Opong-Fosu founded the Africa Global Emergence Center (AGEC) an independent policy, research, advocacy and advisory services organisation and is President of the Africa Growth Solutions, the advisory unit of AGEC.

Mr. Gomez obtained his master of Arts Degree in international Affairs with a concentration in international security studies, from the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He holds a Bachelor of Arts, with a major in Business Management and a minor in accounting from Maryville College, Tennessee.

Mr. Gomes is currently the director for international Affairs at the Rainbow/Push Coalition. He worked as a policy assistant to Reverend Jesse L. Jackson, Sr., during his tenure as United States Special Envoy for the promotion of democracy and human rights in Africa.

Strong business leader with demonstrated ability to build successful start-up businesses and break new ground. Cultivating ties with Boards, Regulators,  customers  and  employees.  Knowledge  of  the African  economic  landscape with the capacity to impact change.

Ebada  is a seasoned  Finance  and  investment  expert  with  9  years  in  the  international  and  African  market  place.  She  is  also  a  career  banker  and  an  Entrepreneur  in  the  Hydroponics,  Nano  Technology  and  Solar  Power  business.  In additions  She  is  the  Vice  president  of  Africa’s  Young  Entrepreneurs  (Africa’s largest Entrepreneurship network), a Director of the African Economic expansion Network (AEEN) and partner of SOA Solutions South Africa.

Mrs. Mariam Lady Yunusa, a versatile Urban Planner and multi-talented development expert with more than four decades’ experience in academic and public service is a Nigerian national. She retired from the United Nations Human Settlement Programme (UN-Habitat) in December 2015 as the Director of Partners and Inter-Agency Coordination, with oversight on the Addis Ababa Liaison Office.

Mrs. Yunusa’s contribution to urban development spans 30 years of technical support to African countries to reduce slums and advance robust housing within integrated national policy frameworks. She is versed in the coordination of multi-sectoral recovery and transformative programs within the framework of decentralized urban governance.
